After many months of waiting, the new album from the phenomenal group Tokio Hotel is in stores since October 5. The album "Humanoid" is available in 2 different languages: a German and an English version and in 3 different editions: limited super deluxe, deluxe and standard.

Your new album is called Humanoid, what is the main theme?
Yes ... well it would be a shame if an album has only subject ... there are several subjects inspired by our lives, our environment and things that happened during the year where we worked on the new CD.
The cover of the disc, representing you in Humanoid, exudes a certain melancholy and almost fright. What do you think?
Yes ... But young people think about life ... and they can be sad ... They may be worried ... and then comes a certain sadness, melancholy. But on this album there are still happy songs ... In fact, it is very mixed ... And then, you know, we are young and this album reflects us ...
You recorded the album in two languages, German and English. Were there difficulties in re-recording your songs from German into English?
This time we wrote and produced the album in two languages ... whereas before we chose the pieces ... So ... it was a better result ... This time we have done it differently but it took a lot more work ... more time. And it's worth it because English and German are part of the identity of Tokio Hotel.
France loved you from the start. What relationship do you have with France?
France is an important country for us ... We really love coming here ... France is the first country after Germany where we met with success ... We're planning our new gigs and we will of course play in France ...
You've sold millions of records, completed many tours, you have hordes of fans, how do you handle this constant pressure?
We manage this popularity more or less ... There are phases where it goes well and others where it doesn’t ... moments where we do not know how we'll do, where we did not want to go on stage ... Sometimes we're intimidated, we believe that we will not succeed ... but more often it makes us really happy ... It is like a drug.
Is the gap between your reality and what your fans expect from you scary for you?
People have a picture of us which is completely different from our reality. It is the world of appearance. But it is normal that show business gives a certain illusion. It is in fact what people want to see. The public does not imagine that behind the bright and magnificent stage there is a behind the scenes side, where things are not necessarily pretty. As for our life, our fans have to understand that reality differs and sometimes, we are there to explain to them this reality …
You say that this album is your best, why? You also say that in this album there is an evolution, how so?
Yes I agree with this. You always think that the last album is the best because it has been just made and you are full of enthusiasm. We are very happy with this album. It is a normal evolution, we grew, we played many concerts, met different fans, spent a lot of time in studio. We are undoubtedly more relaxed. But we still love our older songs a lot.
What makes Tokio Hotel angry?
We do not like mean and arrogant people. We also have a problem with authority. We do not like when they tell us what to do. We prefer making our decisions ourselves …
Are you the voice of a generation?
In general, it is not a simple task. We try nevertheless to touch as many people as possible with our songs, our lyrics and to give them something to identify with. In general, in our lyrics, we tell what touches us and hope that this will also touch our fans and that it will make them think.
How would you describe the perfect fan of Tokio Hotel?
The perfect fan has a good time listening to our music and likes what we make, it pleases him. But he does not download our songs illegally on the internet!!!
20 years since the fall of the Berlin Wall has been just celebrated, does this inspire you?
For us, it is not very important, we grew up in a reunified Germany. The history was told to us, but we did not live it …
